Hiking in the Italian Alps
Sep 22 2016
One of my favourite adventures this summer was a weekend away in Northern Italy. We flew to Verona from Gatwick in London, hired a car and drove north to Bolzano. We stayed in a delicious hotel that I loved because it wasn't posh or pimped and still had a very old school charm.
The purpose of this trip was really to go hiking- which I love. Fresh air, beautiful scenery, lots of hills and climb (hard work) but rewarded with a delicious pasta lunch at a ski chalet restaurant...yum yum.
Visiting the Alps in the summer is a totally different experience to visiting in the winter- for obvious reasons. But I actually prefer it in the summer. Perhaps a little less busy and the scenery is truly worth it.
I mean how many different shades of green can you see. Incredible.
I made it to the top 2000m in my trusty Tiny Fish Loose racer tank in Stone and Street Bra in Sass- best hiking kit ever!
Most comfortable romper for travelling! Ella Moss- thank you, so comfortable and super cute. Worn here with my trusty Chloe bag (yes its pricey) but I use it all the time and its one of those investment pieces that will last FOREVER. I've had this one going on 6 years now and its great. Isabel Marant Slide = Comfort for all the airport walking and my tired hiked-out feet.
